Posljednja izjava volje u formi konzularnog testamenta može se dati u Generalnom konzulatu BiH ili u prostorijama izvan Generalnog konzulata BiH.


Zahtjev državljanina Bosne i Hercegovine za izradu konzularnog testamenta mora se podnijeti jedan radni dan ranije ukoliko se testament sastavlja u Generalnom konzulatu BiH ili na prostoru šireg municipaliteta grada Čikaga.


Zahtjev državljanina Bosne i Hercegovine za izradu konzularnog testamenta izvan područja Čikaga mora se najaviti najmanje sedam radnih dana ranije.
