Signature Certification on Documents

Diplomatic - Consular offices of Bosnia and Herzegovina performs signature certification for citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina who reside out side of  the territory of the country.

INFORMATION ON THE CERTIFICATION OF SIGNATURE ON DOCUMENTS

To certify letters of attorney/declarations/hereditary statements, please provide the following:

1. Legibly completed letter of attorney/declaration/hereditary statement (letter of attorney / declaration /hereditary statement) form(s), provided by the Consulate General of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Chicago, which must be signed and verified by a public notary.

2. A notarized copy of a valid passport or identification card of Bosnia and Herzegovina

NOTE: Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina who do not have a valid passport or ID card of Bosnia and Herzegovina cannot verify their signature at the General Consulate. In that case, their signature can be verified with an "APOSTILLE" seal by the Secretary of State’s office in the state in which they reside.

3. Proof of payment of taxes (for the purpose of verifying letters of attorney / declarations / hereditary statements), and money order payable to the Consulate General of Bosnia and Herzegovina Chicago.
