CONSULATE SERVICE

Consulate services include:

- Issuance of travel documents such as passports and other travel papers

- Certification of signatures on documents (i.e. statements, birth certificates, compliance, power of attorney, hereditary statements).

- Verification of seals and signatures on public documents issued in BiH and in the U.S.

- Consideration of applications and other submissions

- Verification of copies or photocopies

- Issuance of certificate of residence abroad, issuance of travel document for the transfer of human remains from the United States to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- Issuance of transit travel documents (for passage through the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina).

- Declaration of invalid passport

- Certification of signatures on requirements for admission to citizenship of BiH and for discharge from citizenship of BiH, as well as the statements on the denial of citizenship to persons who apply for admission to the citizenship of the country outside the territory of former Yugoslavia.

- Drafting of a will.

- Issuance of visas to foreigners who are currently legally residing in the United States, but are citizens of countries for which visas are required for entry into Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- Notification of marriages in the United States, the birth of children in the United States, the death of persons in the United States, and the registration of births in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- Receiving requests for determining the individual personal identification number for the citizens of BiH who reside in the U.S.
